Thanks to Polymount International, we have embarked on a de-inking process, still unknown in France. This new machine, which is only the 7th to be installed in the world, aims to deink a printed film to obtain a virgin film whose mechanical properties will be preserved, including food contact.
The purpose of this process is, on the one hand, to recover our plastic waste, and on the other hand, to limit the new films production with material derived from petroleum.
This approach reinforces our commitment to the circular economy.
